![]() ![]() ![]() Although the ASCII files for level sets are quite small, those for downloading here are zipped up (with a ".zip" extension) and need to be unzipped after downloading. The reason for this is to force your browser to treat them as files from downloading rather than for rendering as text on your screen! The rating column in the table below shows both the style and difficulty. The style is indicated by the symbol used, and the more symbols (whatever the type) the harder the level set, on a scale of 1 to 5. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Vexkye
by Victor Soliz |
Twelve levels made over the last 10 years which range from easy to intermediate,
getting harder as you go through. Some unusual concepts, and each level tends
to focus on a main idea rather than being full of different puzzles. There is
an included readme file.

I have created 11 training levels for people that have just got the
game or who are not very good at it. There is an included readme file.

Beginner
by Robert Dancer |
I think these levels give a very good introduction to the workings of the
game. The first 5 are very simple, and mainly instructive but hopefully
still fun. The next 6 are a bit harder, and use combinations of tools.

RComb
by Robert Dancer |
This is a set
of 15 levels which range from hard, to very difficult, to simply annoying,
to extremely difficult. They have a few things in common. Firstly, they
are all meant as puzzles, i.e. work for the brain as opposed to speed
tests. Secondly, all of them can be done using the keyboard only.
Thirdly, they are all possible. Finally, the hints become more and more
cryptic as you get further through. I hope that there are some challenges in this set that are quite new. Robert |

Here are a few of the levels I've made. Hardkore is my favorite. They are all possible. |

Hordes
by Robert Phipps |
Hordes has six sub-levels with a theme of massed monsters. They are a bit scary when they come on the screen because of this. They are mostly
in the expert category, and because of the randomness of the monsters
some levels will typically require several restarts. Robert |

Crowds
by Robert Phipps |
Crowds are more levels on the same theme as Hordes, masses of
monsters, in case you havn't had enough. Robert |

Action2
by Brian Baker |
This includes my 2 levels based on teleporting, or as the rest of the community calls it, warping. I discovered it myself without anyone else (tho no one knows I did) but I\'m pretty proud of them. I call my set Action2 because they\'re mainly based on Action, not Puzzle, and the 2 is for second version. Well, have fun with these. |

I hope you enjoy my levels, some of which are quite hard and some
exhibit interesting facets of KYE. Hopefully they are some small repayment
for all the hours of fun you, other game designers, have given me... Alan |

These are the four levels in Christmas Kye and Kyejr which are unique to those versions of Kye (see the "Versions" page). The other levels in those versions are among the Registration Charity levels (reached via the "Classic" page) and can also be found on the "Christmas Kye" page. |

Copy Kye
By Miha |
Over 100 short levels. The first ten are from the original shareware default.kye set, the rest are original.
The level names are a number sequence, so you could jump to "11" if you have done the first 10 before. Varied levels, mostly short, some very easy, some need quick reflexes. |
